Yeah in something like that show a smaller quick car with tight turning radius might be more of an advantage

Well, the cars that try to catch you are almost always old cop cars or old fleet cars. The chasers only had one SUV and that was it. Against the cars, a big ol' truck isn't gonna have too many problems.
