Oh, I know their name. I even know where they live - but not the exact address. It was on some paperwork. I could find said paperwork and hunt them down.

Some quick math... Traveling 50 MPH @ 15 feet means a time of impact at about 0.0012 seconds. It takes longer than that for your brain to even get the signal. So, there was literally nothing I could do.

Yeah, that's less time than it takes the signal to travel from your eyes to your brain. Well, it's about the same amount of time. Then the brain has to formulate a response and send that response to the muscles. Simply impossible.

My first reaction to something like that would be to blink and hope that it's a dream and I'm about to wake up safe and sound in my bed. If it's not I will probably know by the time my blink has completed
