Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

When my chain broke years ago it just dropped on to the road and I had no load on the motor

That's what usually happens. I've heard of 'em getting caught in the wheel, ripping out all the spokes, completely trashing the rear of the bike.

I did just find a BMW that broke a shaft, and it was pretty harmless. It broke in the middle even.

It would have sucked if it had fucked up my back wheel and all. I was able to repair it right where it was in a parking lot of Sears. I actually broke three allen wrenches while I was trying to get the chain cover off, lucky for me they were craftsman. Those bolts was rusted on tight!

I don't think I've gotta worry about my bike breaking for a long, long time. People put a couple hundred thousand miles on 'em, just by maintaining them properly. They're not even all that gentle, they take them off road on adventures - that's the whole point of many of their bikes. People do shit like take them up into the arctic circle and drive them through deserts.
