Maybe he had a buzz.

I'm thinking Jimmy Rodgers was dead by this time.

They had moved out to Kerrville outside San Antonio for his health but it didn't do much for him. The Rodgers I mean.

Mrs. Rodgers gave my dad a guitar and told him he could keep it if he learned to play it, he did not of course.

At that time Elvis was playing around town and my mom got an autographed photo, but Elvis called her 'ma'am' and she didn't like that at all lol.
