oh we have a good set of extra heavy duty jack stands

They're a requirement. I always shake my head in disgust when I see people just using a jack. No! Jacks are ONLY for lifting - not for holding!

Relying on just a jack is a way to get hurt. Jacks fail all the time.

Connecticut just made all prison phone calls free.

Most definitely. Even Jack stands fail, thats why I got the highest weight rated ones that, they are rated for 6 tons, and no vehicle that we are going to put on them are anywhere near that weight.

You still should inspect 'em prior to use.

And, yeah... I'm sure the phone company is right pissed. It's a good idea. Contact with friends and family during incarceration is one of the largest reductions of recidivism. It has been shown in study after study after study.
