Wow. Is it the weather? Why would she decline a private practice? I assume she would accept if you set one up for her in VA.

that's too bad your daughter doesn't want to move to Maine but at least you have the means to live very comfortably for a long time near her when ever you want to

I suspect she'd reconsider if I'd stop going down there and staying down there for a while. Ah well... Maybe she'll change her mind.
