Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

Slight correction. I've given formal lessons at a rally school. I suppose you could call that a track, but we usually call it a course.

The Neon was a fun car to drive, with no pretenses. You could get the sport model or a few other models and they were good sport value for the money.

They had the shittiest interiors on the planet - but they had great performance characteristics if you bought the right models. I would definitely consider buying a well-preserved Neon.

I was oh so close! Still the sentiment was correct, you are a better driver!

You might be one of only a few people who would collect one of those Neons to save for the future. I would think.

For some reason I just remembered I used to drive an Eagle LoL That wasn't that long ago. That brand has been all but forgotten, do you have any of those?

The Eagle Talon was a pretty cool car in its day. I had the AMC Eagle - which was a station wagon with the underpinnings of a Jeep. That was a pretty awesome car - and it had a not-too-shitty interior, complete with leather seats. The dash was still cheap plastic, but it was tolerable.

I suspect there are a few Neons out there that have been saved, but not very many. They were cheap cars. There was an SRT-(?) model with something like 250ish horsepower. They were (some of them) pretty sporty for the era. They were also cheap as fuck. The highest model was like 20k - in mid 2000s. So. yeah... 20k for a 250ish HP Neon was a pretty good performance data per dollar spent.

The Eagle Talon was OK, I had the Eagle Vision and it had a pretty decent interior. Way better than GM and Ford cars comparable had at the time.
