Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

I forgot about that one. I remember the brown convertible one you have. You need an xj220! Or one of those 50s jag LeMans racers

Yeah, I need a 'bird cage' racing Jag, one that's still useful for historic racing. I haven't seen one pop up at prices I'm willing to pay. I'm probably going to need to look overseas.

I sent a reply email finally. I have no idea why they're actually contacting me - or how they got my email address. My hunch is that I have something they want to own or they want me to participate in some event and to bring a specific car.

Did you ask them?

I asked them if they had reached out to me for any specific reason. I did not ask them how they got my email address.

I "know" who the guy is. I've seen him at a few events. I've never spoken to him other than maybe a 'hello' when we were introduced. At the time, I had a much, much smaller collection. I used to only have 24 vehicles that were able to be legally used on a road.

This guy has done a few profitable startup companies. So, he's got a few million dollars. He's spent a ton on cars and storage, so he's probably pretty broke. I doubt he can easily liquidate enough money to buy something special that I have. I suspect he finances a bunch of his stuff and then pays it off as quickly as he can. I doubt he's got a huge nest egg.
