yeah we had to sit at the table until we ate everything that was on our plate when I was a child

I did not pass that rule along to my kids.

I did enforce the rule that you eat what you take.

But, I didn't make them eat foods they truly didn't like. No... No, that fucking rule pissed me the fuck off as a child.

I did have them try all sorts of types of food. That was fun. Start with small portions, 'cause you gotta eat what you take.

yeah I didnt make my kids eat things they didnt like either. fuck that

There was always a little lenience because of the strict rules my parents had. Worst case, we always had a dog.
