You would think that would work but alas, I was ashamed to play it and it's the guitar I write all my songs on. I have a Gibson J45 that I take really good care of so I guess it kinda balances out. The EJ 200 is what I write all my songs with and it's a work horse and looks like one to boot... a very old and neglected work horse, kinda like its owner

You write all your song on the same guitar? I like writing songs on different guitars cause I think different guitars have different songs in them. The EJ should be really happy to sing some new songs with you now that she's all cleaned up

I like to think that old guitar has many more stories. When I sit down to write that old EJ is like a comfortable old friend. It sounds like a brand new guitar now, with a truss rod adjustment, fret recrown and polish and a little shave on the saddle to lower the action. It's been needing that for some time now. I got three of them done today, my Tyler Mountain accoustic ( a nice little custom job made in Florida ), my EJ and my Schecter 004 Bass. I've still got 8 more to go, but I'm getting there. I'm really looking forward to getting my 12 string back to playable again. I have a new song that needs to have that guitar on it.

I hope she has a lot more stories. Sounds like you have a wonderful guitar collection!
