I was in a jail many years back that had a ping pong table for recreation, and man those guys in the jail were so damned good I could not get a single point. They were playing way back off the table like you see the Asians do, the only ping pong I have ever played was as a kid and was nothing like the way they played. Man they were whacking the ball so fast on the serves it would be past me before I could even figure out which way to move the paddle. I guess you get good at ping pong if you play it all day every day

Yeah, I used to be able to play like that. I could put English on the ball, just like you do in billiard games.

I can also play pool. I've competed at the semi-pro level, which is just a fancy name for a playing tournaments that happened to be held in bars.

It was no fun for me. I can tell you that. I just said hell with it and got a book to read

Yeah, I'd read a lot of I were incarcerated for any length of time.
