Oh, ok. I always thought number 1 meant lead and 2 meant rhythm.

LOL We've had this conversation 20 times. The #1 and #2 (etc) are the numbers on the tab - and in most cases that's the order in which you hear them. It's not always the case, but it's the case at least 90% of the time.

So, whatever you hear first is #1.
