I have. That's what my collection of unpublished riffs are - and my published riffs. I think I've played every possible combination of notes and attacks. So far, nothing all that fantastic leaps out.

I do need to revisit playing it with some sort of wand.

Both like a percussion instrument and like a bowed instrument. Try it with a coat hanger - using the long part of the coat hanger. You can even do it with a plastic coat hanger. You can tap the strings or draw the hanger across the strings.

I should find a wand that has different textures on it so that I can do even more with it.
