We're on vacation. That doesn't mean we don't have material to share, it just means it is older stuff that hasn't been heard in a while.
This one was recorded at a lovely studio where I used to spend a great deal of time, and was recorded with some wonderful friends backing me.
GnR - November Rain (hulkshare.com)
Give it a minute to start playing.
Rock on, bears. Rock on!
I'm ashamed to admit that I have no familiarity with the original, but this is incredible!
How the hell do you not know November Rain?!?
I am musically stunted. I haven't listened to much popular music since 1990. I'm finding out that there are a LOT of great new artists!
Thats a damned good question!
Man alive I'm glad you posted this again. I didn't download it the first time. Got it this time. Great track, for the umpteenth time. I gotta check your band out when you guys get playing again. Yeah, now I realize that Trans Siberian Orchestra track is like a million times harder to do than this.
Man I never get tired of this song. Welcome to the Jungle, yes, November Rain, no. That was so amazing these hard rocking dudes came up with this gem. Then it kicks in in high gear with that lead guitar and the harmonies. Amazing stuff. Kinda like Stairway when it changes gears after the solo.
If you ever want something from the archives, ask COF.
Glad ya liked it and it's definitely one of their best songs. It was a great treat to play with some old friends in a familiar studio. It's like an encapsulated memory.
Another awesome job, guys!
Thanks. That was down in Cambridge, MA at a studio where I used to do a ton of session work.
I guess I should say 'up' 'cause I'm still not home, but you get the idea.
Those were all older musicians that I'd played with many times before. It was a hell of a great time.
So good man. I love that song.
It's one of my favorite GnR songs. I absolutely love it.
Glad ya liked it.
I’m half tempted to try the vocals on it; but the other half of me doesn’t think I can get up that high anymore haha
Perfect as always.
It was a lovely experience. A trip down memory lane.
This is too good. You even got thunder crashing in there. Great job on this to everyone involved!
It was quite a time. They were all older musicians I'd played with before, in a studio I'd been in many times.
In many ways, it was a trip down memory lane and this was one of the memories we shared.
What a fine memory it is!
