I am super stoked. The Ducati was just plain absurd. The R1250RS will top out at a similar speed, but is a lot more tame getting there. Besides, I'll never once top it out. It'll be fine for cruising, fine for carving mountain roads, fine for slow cruises, fine all around...

I even made sure to get all the luggage options, in case we want to hop on it and head on a weekend trip.

It's going to be so much more comfortable.

It's not like you can legally drive at the top speed anyways. May as well be comfortable. Right?

It'll also be much, much quieter.

The whole 'loud pipes saves lives' is actually a myth. There's absolutely no difference in the statistics for accidents and fatalities.

The Ducati is loud as fuck. It's a nice loud - for like 10 minutes.
