Yeah, he's got his guitar and his stereo and speakers and laptop and his food out of the freezer. All of his most valuable possessions. The fire didnt really get into where his apartment was, all the damage up there was smoke damage and the firemen damage
That's a strange list of 'his most valuable possessions' but I'm actually not sure what I'd say are my most valuable possessions in the event of a fire. So, maybe it's not as strange as it seems?
My house has a fire suppression system, with some areas being more protected than others.
So, hopefully I'd not lose much.
If they had a fire extinguisher in the house it maybe could have been stopped before it got as bad as it did, but they didn't have one. I have some here. Hopefully I never have to use them. But I have them. Verle's been in the bathroom for an hour, even since I woke up. I don't know what the hell he is doing in there but i need to use the toilet
An uncharged fire extinguisher is of no value. So, make sure they're charged!
