Staff sling there was a nice post recently on them, dog catch poles. Good defensive methods, non lethal vs swat armored tyrants but still gets point across.
You could just run up on them, grab their shield, grab an ankle, disappear back into the crowd. Someone else grab a helmet, grab their baton, disaster back into the crowd. Send them back to the station naked and it doesn't require any weapon.
