AI algorithms only do one thing: quantify patterns. They match an input set of data points against a set of known data and score it according to how closely it matches. Good algorithms do it fast and accurately. Bad algorithms do it slowly with errors.

The algorithms cannot have race bias. That is impossible. All you can do is lie and distort the data models. Yes, this happens all the time. The discussions I hear regarding AI and outcomes is absolutely absurd. I listen only for my amusement. I used to ask questions and had to stop because it disrupted the presentation and I didn't want to call attention to myself. For example: why are we trying to break the algorithms? Isn't it better to skew and fake the models?
