we must respect the decision they made.

By making them unemployed and publicly shaming them via the media.

publicly shaming them

Thereby ensuring that they are never hired again by de-facto black-listing them. Remember that communist card thing? This is a part of that evolved.

de-facto black-list

Winner winner, gulag for you!

Pandemic must really be winding down if they can suspend that many folks.

[–] 4 pts

great point. let's fire our front line workers as the pandemic rages.... oh wait

It’s a wonder there’s even any left alive after well over a year treating people with a highly contagious deadly virus while unvaccinated, yet here they are suspending some of the few survivors capable of treating the masses of dying. It’s all such bullshit, if it wasn’t for media you wouldn’t even be aware that there is a ‘pandemic’ raging; in the olden days it was the daily cries to bring out your dead that gave you the heads up to take some precautions.

My hospital isn’t the biggest but I don’t know a single employee there who has “died of Covid.”

Guess we did a really really good job washing our hands.

the media and many in our government on both sides of the aisle but specifically anti-American communists are the fucking virus.

He added the COVID vaccines "have proven through rigorous trials to be very safe and very effective and are not experimental."

What a crock of shit

Uhhh my body my choice?

[–] 2 pts

Yes, except it's the government saying it.

The right to practice religious freedom (1st Amendment).

The right to refuse trespass on private property - YOUR BODY!

The right to refuse unreasonable searches of your private property (4th Amendment).

The ADA - if you have severe reactions to vaccines or a disability you cannot be discriminated against.

The HIPPA right to not have to disclose PERSONAL MEDICAL RECORD INFORMATION to ANYONE.

Americans are fucking stupid - they think that because someone is a CEO of a company they somehow have the right to force another person to make a medical decision. This is fucking ridiculous. All the people who gave in are PUSSIES!!!!! I fucking hate how cowardly American morons have become.

etc, etc, etc, I hope this hospital gets so financially fucked by lawsuits that it completely shuts down.

each suspended worker should individually hire an attorney for wrongful suspension. a class action only enriches the lawyers.

I thought texas made it illegal to mandate vaccine passports. Sounds like maybe texas is full of shit.

[–] 1 pt

I'm not aware any passports have been issued. For medical jobs, this is par for the course.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

Its a defacto passport if you have to prove you have it to work.

[–] 0 pt (edited )

Passports are issued by governments. Haven't seen one yet. Maybe they should use "proof of vaccination" instead of referring to government documents. You can always "choose" another job, right? What's the issue?

"It is unfortunate that today’s milestone of Houston Methodist becoming the safest hospital system in the country is being overshadowed by a few disgruntled employees," Boom said

they should all quit. Any reasonable doctor or nurse would never be part of an experiment using chemicals for something that isn't proven and being studied by career criminals like Fauzi.

That's a lot of staff.

Enough to start their own hospital.

There is a pandemic overwhelming hospitals.

We can suspend 170 employees without impact.

Pick one.
