The catastrophic crippling of the timber industry didn't do it. Exporting most of our real jobs overseas and importing shitskins for the rest of the jobs didn't do it. Destroying the domestic auto industry with environmental regulation didn't do it. And forcibly shutting down the economy for a year didn't do it. What makes this guy thing shutting down domestic oil will do it? We'll just pay to import what we should be producing and everyone will go about their business that much further indebted to the jew.
