All those rockets he fires off aren't good for the environment and neither is mining for the minerals needed in his batteries.

Bitcoin's value is directly linked to the petro dollar. All of these mining properties' (it's not currency and it's certainly not money) value is driven by the cost of energy. New energy technologies or energy surplus actually means lower value.

There is enough manipulation that this fact remains hidden from most. But it is inescapable.
