I'm gonna disagree with the articles assessment that people didn't eat it because they don't care about saving the planet. I think the biggest issue was taste. Americans eat and drink a TON of shit that is basically flavored chemicals. From our candy, to our breakfast and energy drinks, to our dipping sauces. Americans would have 0 issues eating this swill for the planet IF IT ACTUALLY TASTED GOOD. It tasted like chemical cow butthole soaked in motor oil. And as bad as that sounds, it SMELLED even worse when you were cooking it. No one is gonna want to eat that. Make some goyslop with a good flavor, and you'll get people eating the bugs faster than you can say "White Replacement"
