You can make noodles taste like anything. Not a bad idea. When I was a kid my mother used ramon noodles for mac and cheese because it was cheap, easy, and we are poor as fuck.
We used those gubbmint macaroni elbows and cheese for mac-n-cheese.
We didn't qualify for it, but knew a lot of people who got it and were too proud to eat it...or something. Morons. The entire lot of them.
I've never tried ramen in cheesy sauce. It's on the list now.
I'll catch hell for this one but Kraft mac and cheese with the powder cheese is the bestest of goyslop mac and cheese. I've done that with ramen noodles before. Same with spaghetti, etc.
It's not bad for a powdered cheese mix.
Fleming used to make a similar product that was, IMHO, better. They're long gone, tho.
Similar in my area. The tia next door used to take the chicken ramen, add chili and cilantro from the back yard, throw in some hot sauce for good measure, and make something that tasted sort of like tortilla soup broth.
But these? These are horrifying.
Yeah those take goyslop to a new level of nasty. We had a garden too. More out of necessity that a pastime. We do one every year but back in the day saving money here and there was required. I am glad I don't have to live that way.
