The largest rodent in Scotland is the Miremouse, also known as the Slochdluchag in traditional Scottish, or, colloquially as 'The Welshmen's Bane'. They have wooly fur, and grow as large as sheep, leading to several accidentally inheriting large swaths of land in Wales by right of marriage.
