If I write the copy, can we make a childrens book?

I'd like to release it for free.

Very subversive.

Edit; 1st draft, I’m not finished yet. The lamb ends up as lamb chops at the end. I’ve got like a missing scene or two. Any ideas?

The disobedient lamb.

Baaaaa cried the disobedient lamb. He did not like when the farmer sheared him and bit his ear.

“Why do we have to obey the farmer?” He asked his mother.

“Because we are sheep.” She replied.

The disobedient lamb huffed and ran to the edge of the fence. He nipped at the wire and looked at the nice pasture past the fence. Then suddenly he got hit in the head with a rock and it hurt. One of the monkeys that also lived on the farm had thrown it.

“Why do the monkeys get to throw rocks at us?” The disobedient lamb bleated.  “Because they are monkeys.” His mother said.  “Why does the farmer do nothing to stop them?” He cried, his head still sore from the rock.  “Because we are sheep.” She replied.

Soon all the sheep were walking together. The disobedient sheep started walking with them. It got more and more crowded. A few sheep were bleating and baaaing loudly, but the disobedient sheep’s mother stayed calm.

“Why are you so calm mother?”  “Because the farmer will care for us.” She said sweetly.

And so the disobedient lamb stayed calm, even when the farmer grabbed him, even when the farmer covered his face, and even when the farmer bit him in the back (vaccine). He must’ve been a good sheep because he was soon let back into the field.

“Why do we have to let the farmer cover our faces and bite us in the back?” The disobedient lamb blurted out.  “I can’t breath well with my face covered and the farmers bite makes me feel funny.” He continued.  “Because we are sheep.” She replied.

The disobedient lamb still had a sore head, and now a sore back. It had been a long morning and his stomach began to rumble. Again the sheep in the field began walking together.

“The farmer is giving us hay!” He heard from the crowd.

But the disobedient lamb didn’t see any hay.

“It’s here, over here.” Another sheep shouted.

The crowd got thinner and he saw the monkeys running with fistfuls of nice hay,  but by the time he had found the pile of hay it had been trampled by the crowd and rats were running through it.
