It was a sequel to a movie that that came out 15 years ago to mixed reviews and modest box office success. Which itself was a sequel to a move that came out 25 years before that and was a commercial flop but hit cult status years later. I'd like to say this was a mass rejection of Leto the pedo, and Disney wokewashing and etc. But it probably isn't that deep. It was just a stupid movie to make.
