That's great. I've been planting for weeks. My garden is a few acres.

That's awesome! Our goal too is to have some acreage, greenhouse, and I'd like to start aquaponics to create an iterative framework for self-sustainment

Nice. My starters are still too sad to show. Maybe in another week they will be worth posting but they are indoor-starts via hydro.

Nice! We transplanted several of our starts to bed last week and then had an unseasonably cool and wet stretch which summoned the snails and slugs forth from the dark places of The Earth. The laggards devastated the tender rootstock and budding leafiness of many a baby spout. My lovely wife has gone straight savage on the slimy little usurpers by baiting the heathen hordes into a death of drunken and drowned lushdom by entrenching traps of cheap beer throughout the motte to protect the bailey and facilitating a legit Lone Star gastropod garden plot holocaust.

Capital reply!

We are not ready to transplant into beds just yet. We're in zone 5b and although our weather is gorgeous this week, we are anticipating a dip by sunday.. we have however, taken advantage to begin hardening the plants as well as building stalk-strength in the wind. Typically in our zone, it's relatively safe to plant at mothers day, but I do not think we will see a freeze that late this year, so we shall paly it by ear - my evergreens (rosemary) will.most likely be in its own bed by end-of-month.

Do you make hot sauce or salsa?

[–] 3 pts

Both, but I have a predilection to pepper sauce. I am of two schools here: cooked and lacto-ferment, the latter being my preferred method.

lacto-ferment,

Best way to make hot sauce. My mouth is watering thinking about it.

I will be posting some of my homemade in the capsaicin sub.. my ferments have been soaking for 2 years now, crazy flavor
