I'm under siege by snails. Needs to be something that won't harm bees, cats, foxes, birds, etc. Tried ash, then tried coffee grinds and still they're munching all my flowers.

you can just cover them in salt to kill them

Didn't say to salt your soil, just the snails and slugs. Don't salt your soil.
