No deer ever did a thing w/o a horker behind the scenes pulling the strings. When they come they will descend out of the trees in numbers that block out the sky.

Ah. The old pellet gun works on those horking bird seed thieves.

Silenced .22 is probably more effective. Aim for the neck or head.

Cayenne pepper and soap in a spray bottle, add tobacco for the bugs. If they still bite they are mexican deer and you should shoot them, I recommend 12 guage double 0 buck.

I live inside the city, that would be a bit too loud.

You may be able to put out some feed or a mineral/salt block so that they go for that instead. As much as I love animals and wildlife at some point theres the poison option as a last resort. There should be a lot of info on detering them but you have to risk losing your plants again to test them.
