Yes edible, you wait for the yellow leaves to fall off . Then I let it dry out for a few days then take them out. Some people hang them upside down in a shopping bag and seeds fall out. Then you wash them salt them, and bake them.

well yes but not all varieties of specific types of plants are edible. im sure there are none edible sunflower seeds
