actually exponentially cheaper

You mean in the long run, higher up front costs though. Right?

it’s actually really expensive to own land and maintain it. with vertical growing you can build a very cheap property, metal frame grow house, and shelves of plant space. hydroponics has really improved in the last decade, with many more shops that cater to exactly what you need for lower costs.

in the end, you use less space, less water, and are not restricted by seasonal change.

up front costs are different. no tractor but building material.
