I'd imagine most of their customers are young people who don't have a lot of money. Pushing higher costs on such group of people is only going to result in their sales numbers going down. I have zero doubt that some accountant is betting that the number of customes lost will be less money than the extra money brought in by higher unit prices.

Nope, Younger people are not gaming nearly as much anymore. This is the same as "Disney Adults".

This shit is being sold to people in their late 30's to mid 40's+ that have the money. That is why the company can get away with it.

Look at any of the videos of the recent Nintendo console release (I think it was Switch 2)? Its basically just mid aged and older men with no kids fighting each other for a shitty game console because they have nothing else in life to care about.

Weak and pathetic.

The kids on the other hand? They don't care what it costs. They would not be buying it anyway.
