Meh, I have all three current gen consoles. If I could do it over I would have never bought the Xbox. I feel like the best thing Microsoft could do right now is just let us install Windows on the series s|x.

Well, you can install Windows AND Linux on the Steam Deck. So there is that.

I doubt it will be long until there is a way to get the Deck running xbox games as good or better than the new handheld that is coming out.

It used to be that consoles were highly custom hardware. Now they are basically just PC's with Hardware DRC and are non-upgradable (apple model, throw the old one away and buy the new one).
