My rule is that if I play It through quickly and delete it.... it wasn't worth paying for anyway. But if I replay, and enjoy the game and keep it around..... then it was worth paying for, and I wanna own a hard copy to vote with my wallet. Even if the pirated version is usually superior. This goes for TV and movies too, but since the owned media often involves mandatory trailers, advertising and menus, on top of wasting my time with unskippable anti piracy messages, I don't feel as obligated to pay
