Imagine sitting in a room all by yourself, when there is a whole world out there to experience.

Imagine experiencing that world, and it's filled with niggers and faggots Now being alone in a room makes sense

I get the argument of experiencing the world. But you need to get the steam off clown world once in a while to not go insane. A rules-based universe to contradict the chaos outside, so you can still experience the feeling of doing X and producing Y because of Z. Its different from TV because you can actually control variables and outcomes to a certain extent, and from using drugs and conscience-altering substances because its not a physical-altering experience.

But its still escapism. As long as you understand that the time you are losing there cannot be repaid later, then its only a matter of balancing the results of wasting time vs pushing through

Until the room becomes a screen full of nigfags... what's the solution here again?

This speciric rooms is under your control. Thats literally the point of escapism. The solution would be not to choose to fil your room with that shit. Fantasy always has a choice, even when the real world is more limited

XD This is the right response, and here is where we are.

let me introduce you to a new word: "Escapism"

Stealing games is why no new games are made for pc.

I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll gladly pay if forced to.

I wish the same could be done for music and movies but that’s gone.

Well you are completely wrong. Obviously you are new to gaming because before STEAM overhauled the pc space, no company in the right mind would want to release games on PC. Some danced around it and complained about compatibility issues while others were unapologetically form and claimed they do not appeal to pirates.

Ever since steam did the unthinkable, now everyone releases on PC, in fact, so many companies brought their catalogues onto the PC.

They are still releasing games for PC, except now-a-days they release it for everywhere too.

The beauty of Microsoft owning Xbox is that Xbox games are for the computer too. And therefore cracked.

PSP was the best console because it was easily modded in the firmware. Then it can play all Gameboy all Sega all SNES, homered software and run PSP games as an .iso instead of wasting battery spinning a UMD

actually they just hire psychologists to better exploit addictive personalities. You're forgetting all the merchandising that surrounds the marvel universe.

Yeah, pirated that high on life game.. My email was compromised two days later.

Whos running the pirate ops? Is china funding hackers to fuck with western biz?

These hackers aint doing it for 'fun'.

The key is to find one or two reputable sites to use. I have saved a few that I have been using for several years, have yet to have an issue.

I haven't had any issues with games packed up by a russian girl with an interest in compression algorithms. Somehow this girl is able to fit large games into much smaller downloads. But, there seem to be some fake sites that look like hers so be careful.

I used to pirate games when I couldn't afford them.

My rule is that if I play It through quickly and delete it.... it wasn't worth paying for anyway.

But if I replay, and enjoy the game and keep it around..... then it was worth paying for, and I wanna own a hard copy to vote with my wallet. Even if the pirated version is usually superior. This goes for TV and movies too, but since the owned media often involves mandatory trailers, advertising and menus, on top of wasting my time with unskippable anti piracy messages, I don't feel as obligated to pay
