Women swallowed the lie of feminism that "muy career" and obesity were attractive. Men swallowed the lies of mothers telling them to "be yourself", despite the fact that women want a tall, fit, high-earning man not a basement dweller.
As a result, both sexes generally arent attracted to one another and society is doomed.
It's because women petitioned weak men to overcorrect every possible mechanism to put their stupid shit in its place, and we have a generation raised by women who then reproduced and had children who had no idea they should even be shutting down a woman's shit, and now their kids are having kids.
An accurate summary. Women are pervasively lied to and sheltered from reality because men want to have sex with them.
In the past, resource constraints made it unfeasible to continue these lies for an extended period of time and women would be exposed to truth and reality soon enough. Hiking your happy little ass through two miles of snow in sub-zero temperatures to get groceries because your husband needed your one car to drive to work is going to base you in reality real quick.
These days though? Women are getting Masters Degrees in navel gazing studies, being hired to a make-work job as a diversity hire, and swallowing the #GirlBoss nonsense. Then they get fat, hit 40, are shockedpikachu that they dont enjoy their irrelevant job, cant have children, acquire cats, and blame "the patriarchy" for shortsighted decisions. Or just go on psych meds and identify as they/them once male attention and lies start to drop off with age.
Men stop being lied to shortly after moving out of their parents' house, largely due to "bills" and "manual labor" which rapidly disabuse them of ridiculous notions. Even if they go the white collar route, the first time they're lectured on how they're part of the patriarchy and rape culture, they'll wise up. Usually because they're doing 5x the work of their female diversity hire "peers" and have yet to even kiss a girl.
