I can somewhat understand the whole "gaming addiction" thing in the sense that the real world sucks for a lot of people, and looking at the current clown world shitshow, it's no wonder - so they turn to a game to waste time. Those with addictive personalities then turn "wasting time" into "spending most of their time doing it".

Why don't you "gamers" try lowering the dopamine hit you get from sitting in a chair and allow your brain to get rewarded by tangible achievements? After a few weeks it will reset your reward system and working on physical projects and going outside will be fun again. Then all that time you're spending will actually create tangible things (muscles, real life skills, building things, etc) Instead of digital 1's and 0's that can't improve your life.
We live in a world where being completely unhealthy to the point of explicitly morbid obesity is celebrated. What's convinced you people are taking "health" seriously, let alone even understand what that means?
