Oddly, Nordic types don’t talk to one another. They avoid conversation. I lived in Helsinki for a few years and if you try talking to a stranger they react as if they think you’re trying to pick their pocket. All those nordics are very guarded. In America, your political party, if your on the left, is something to crow about. In Sweden, Norway, Finland; they don’t talk about it. I worked at a studio in Finland and had no idea what anyone’s political leaning was. It was rude to discuss. I was from Texas so they had cowboy questions for me. I had questions about their repelling of the Russians in WW2, and they didn’t know shit.
