Shit, I love TES, but never heard of that one. Been a fan since Daggerfall. I tried Online again recently but couldnt make it past the installer again, 4 wrapper agreements 100gig+ install, Adware via redshift, and secondary installers outside of steam......

Yeah, I rocked TES since Arena when it came out. Two of my friends and myself would play that on my 486dx2 and read magazines and backseat driver the person playing. I played up until Skyrim and thought that the series died at Morrowind. Skyrim is an amazing mod delivery platform however. That is the only thing that keeps me coming back at random. That game was insanely easy stock however. It all started with oblivion..... actually it all went downhill when they made the Morrowind Xbox port and people complained about the "broken" user interface..... On PC I thought it was perfect, you could resize and choose what you wanted visible when you went out of pause/inventory mode or whatever. You had to actually still READ and solve problems instead of shit voice acting. etc etc. could go on for days about Xbox killing PC games.

edit: Quest markers were the bane as well. You would catch yourself looking at the bottom of the screen to go to where the quest was instead of getting sidetracked and exploring.

I watched some old videos about Arena, but never played it. Daggerfall was so awesome because it had such and expansive map, and open ended game play, you could buy houses and boats! Man you know I saw some stuff where some guys were going back and remaking Daggerfall and Morrowind with updated graphics, maybe even Arena. You tried those? I remember looking into it but i think it was quite involved.
