The real problem will be finding an emulator that’s actually decent for the Switch. Honestly, it’ll probably be a few years before Yuzu is stable. Idk if it’ll get a deck, but if I do, I’m getting Dolphin since that’s nice and smooth.

Could a PS2 emulator run on that thing? That would be pretty sweet.

It's got Zen 2 quad core up to 3.5ghz, should be able to run PCSX2 and Dolphin at 720p.

I have a laptop. It’s like the shittiest laptop you can buy. It’s so slow. Just doing normal things like turning it on. Loading things like settings or documents 30 seconds sometimes. God forbid you want to use somethjng like the screen recorder. Somebody bought it for me. I don’t want to sound ungrateful but fuck. It might have the worst possible processor that was available that year. Everytime I use it I’m caught between anger and guilt that somebody spent money for me on something so shitty that I want to throw it away

It’s literally a handheld PC. Any emulator will work on it.

I remember having a ps2 and a whole bunch of games. I didn’t have a job I was a kid. I sold all my games to game stop for basically nothing. Then I bought drugs. I never felt so shitty like that. It still hurts to think about.

what do you mean you are getting Dolphin? What is this?

GameCube emulator

Oh yeah...I have that one. I have all emulators.

But are there any gamecube games that are worth it?

But won't this present issues since it's a Linux build? I honestly don't know how well Linux support is for emulation but I can't imagine that it's even close to Windows emulation support.

Linux emulates like a boss. It's only a matter of developer support. I don't know about switch, but my kids have been playing NES, SNES, and GBA games on their Linux PCs. In theory they could also play GameCube and Wii games, but I don't have any ROMs.
