Scooped it up on PC this weekend. It's pretty great so far. The graphics are top notch. The horror is excellent. The levels are cool. The bad guys are scary. The death scenes are awesome. Everything seems well polished. The last big game I bought was Cyberpunk and that turned into a huge disappointment. RE Village feels like what a modern game should be. It has a very similar feel to RE4 except that it's first person instead of 3rd. At first I thought it was gonna be lame being a first person shooter but I'm digging it. It also seems to play better with the Xbox controller over keyboard/mouse. I'm playing it on a Asus G14 laptop and get 50-60 FPS with mid/high settings and ray tracing. The graphical detail is amazing and the sound fx keep you terrified properly. Can't wait to play it some more tomorrow after work. I think I'll try hooking up to the living room TV to see what it looks like on the big screen with surround sound.
