You ever play the PSP version? It's out for mobile now too for like $1. I loved the original FFT, but the PSP "War of the Lions" version is far superior. It uses far better translation, and the language is more appropriate for the time period setting. There is a little bit of extra content in the form of a few extra side quests and classes, but watching the story play out without the clunky dialogue from the bad PS1 translation is what really sells it for me.
