I think they're a bit goofy, but honestly the whole idea that all your interactions are with othe real people is pretty cool. The emoji stuff just makes it easier to quickly interact I guess.
It's not like fallout wasn't quirky when it first came out
Same here. I'm a die hard Fallout fan, but I really hate MMO's. With no NPC's, and other people in the game, it just seems like it's going to take away from a good fallout experience. I like to quote Syndrome when it comes to MMO's... When everyone is super, no-one is.
That’s actually a really good way of putting it, I’m not an mmo guy myself but I’m not completely discounting this one due to limited players per server, also if they let individuals run private servers that could make it pretty epic.
