I'm looking for a game that satisfies the following criteria:

  • online connection (not necessarily MMO but not strictly opposed, either);
  • interaction with other players;
  • fast-paced action gameplay;
  • rpg elements (creating builds, character customization, etc.);
  • not subversive, degenerate filth (no "woke" devs, not owned wholly or in part by the chinese government, no blatant "diversity" platitudes, you know what I mean)
  • available on PC

The first one that comes to mind for me is Warframe, although I've heard a lot of complaints that recent updates have botched things. YMMV

Yeah I've considered Warframe before but have yet to try it. I think I'll download it now and give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

A game like that should be called "Chicago", "Detroit" or "Dearborn".

Chicago and Detroit definitely have lots of action-packed PvP. Dearborn is more of a grand-strategy game.

I'm presently really enjoying SWTOR.

I rolled an Empire Agent and am pretty much James Bond. Murderous James Bond. It's funner than I expected... and free unless you decide to subscribe to get the extras that subscription provides.

I did consider trying this one too but I've always found star wars somewhat ghey. I'll look into it more though, thanks.

Yeah, my brothers nagged me into joining. I felt pretty much totally the same way.

I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying it... but there are aspects of the game that I find pretty entertaining [multiple choice choose your own adventure options in missions, what your 'followers' think of your cations, etc..] and I'm accumulating dark side points with glee murdering gross retard rebel types. You really can choose to murder people a lot of the time even when it would almost certainly be more sensible not to.

It's not the greatest thing ever or anything, it's just what I'm enjoying presently. I hardly ever play vidya games anymore. Before this, I had just played "This Is the Police" on steam. Prior to that, Wow, years ago. I still miss that... and SWTOR's similarity to WoW is kind of neat. Idunno. See what you think, or don't. The installation process takes forever, and getting it to run on linux under wine is even more of a pain in the ass... but I did!
