Lost count of the nbr of times I've replayed SS and SS2. Really looking forward to the remake.
Fun fact SS was the first, but not the last, game that induced me to plonk down serious coin to upgrade my PC so that the game played better. Before the upgrade the resolution was set so low to achieve a playable frame rate that the screen literally looked like a vaguely organized space with random bits of color here and there. I did find though that after staring at it long enough I was able decipher the meaning from the apparent chaos and soon was hooked on the game. And in no time buying a $450 video just so that I could enjoy a $50 game better made perfect sense.
