Metzen, who created Kerrigan while chasing balmer's curve at 3 am trying to hit a deadline for starcraft, has not touched code for over 15 years. Lore is decided by commitie, no "balmer's curve inspiration" to hit a deadline, if its not ready, they vote on the least objectionable plot line to take, and what would take the most manageable amount of effort to hit their deadline.
The environment that created greatness within blizzard is long gone. and what has taken their place? minority hires from a feminist HR department. when will this filter into their game lineup? overwatch actively bans people who have wrong opinions on twitter or facebook. Soon games will have this bullshit injected into them from the design stage instead of tacked on through a patch. When that happens, blizzard will ask EA to hold their beer to watch how hard they fall.
