This needs a carpet cleaner filled with disinfectant and then a run with deodorizer and more cleaning solution. You don't let whatever the roomba doesn't get to dry in the carpet. You wouldn't vacuum dog shit off the bottom of your shoe and then walk in the house and on the carpets.

It said it went on to clean the rest of the house moving the mess everywhere. I assume there was a carpet somewheres in the area. If it's tile gloves paper towels then mop it with a strong disinfectant then mop it again after tossing the mop head with a clean mop head and a cleaner with deordorizer also or just bleach.
