The one's that piss me off are the animal commercials for give your gift now. THat ASPA commercial is for one of the pet shelters in upstate NH not all of them nation wide. It's likely pulling in millions for a 100 animals tricking people by not telling them it's one shelter.

Didn't know that myself. Not that I contributed, I agree I hate those commercials ... holiday season tear-jerk classics.

I just give to our local shelters directly. Old blankets and towels for the SPCA, and money for the rescue operation [because they're awesome. We adopted two of their cats and they waived all fees and just said, "put something in the donation box now and then if you want to"]
