I have a desktop, I despise smart phones because of cost and they are to small to really see anything on the screen or to type with regular size hands. Great for girls, teens, and men with dainty hands but I prefer a full keyboard and mouse. Not the stupid laptop shit finger pad, god I hate those things.
Kind of tough to take on a road trip, though.
I hate traveling. I hate traffic badrivers and exhaust fumes. It's boring as fuck road road road road, I'd go stircrazy on a road trip, as for the laptops I find them stupid, look away gone stolen, drop you're fucked. A desktop on the other hand is a real computer, real power, no stupid battery powered toy, have multiple drives attached and operating systems. I have a huge screen also that I can watch netflix, movie or anime on without eyestrain. I also can't stand the unity type gui with huge buttons that take you to a new screen, it's like when I used win 3.11.
