If you live in a particularly windy area, you could put a barb on the end... to stop your loctite cap from blowing off.

I reckon those would make good use if you were expecting some bad hombres and scattered those around your yard and driveway in minecraft.

They work well for holding loctite caps on the floor about 6" from your windows as well.

If someone drove around with one of these stuck in their wheel it would fly out unlike a nail or screw.

It would be trivial to use that cut off wheel to cut a channel in the spikes.
